Photography/Video Studio
The Photography/Video Studio is located on the Lower First Level within the Silverstone building. The studio is separated in to two main spaces, the Photography Studio and the Video Studio. Each area is equipped with a range of equipment and accessories found in industry settings. The studio can be booked on SiSo 24/7 and can be accessed with your access card once the space has been booked.
The Video Studio has a range of equipment and accessories students would expect to find in the industry. This includes
- A range of Lighting Equipment including
- Hive Lights, these lights can be controlled via an app for a range of different lighting applications.
- Arri Light
- A moveable Lighting Rig with a range of different mounts
- C-Stands
- Flags
- Diffuser Boards
- A range of flats that can be decorated by students in the Studio Workspace for use in their sets.
- A Green Screen Curtain
- A Black Curtain
- A range of Grip Equipment including power supplies, cable tidys, tools and ladders. More grip equipment can be found in the Separately bookable Studio Workshop.
The Photography Studio has a white infinity curve, a range of Bowens Flashlights and lighting modifiers such as diffusers. The bookable cameras can also be connected to a Mac for tethered shooting.
There is also a lighting cupboard in the space with access to a range of filmmaking lights (Hive and Arri Lights) Grip Equipment and a range of lighting accessories. This cupboard can be accessed by booking the dedicated access card from SiSo at the same time as your studio booking.
