The University has some minimum service days between and inclusive of 17th-22nd April. This means that the vast majority of staff will not be working. A lot of people will have booked 14th-16th as annual leave so there will be a reduced number of staff working. Security will still be operating so in an emergency on campus you can call them on 01273 873333. Below are some resources that might be helpful to you over the minimum service days.
Togetherall
There is some specific information about spring break from togetherall, you can find more information in this article: https://student.sussex.ac.uk/news/article/67776-togetherall-support-for-students-over-spring-break
Shout
Shout is the UK's first and only free, confidential, 24/7 text messaging service for anyone who is struggling to cope.
As a digital service, Shout became vital during Covid-19, as one of the few mental health services able to operate as normal at this time. We have seen the need for our support remain high through the UK's cost of living crisis.
Shout is powered by the charity Mental Health Innovations, which also powers The Mix, a service providing free, anonymous online advice about the important issues in young people’s lives.
