October 2024 – Chris gives public professorial lecture at Sussex

Prof Chris Bird presented his inaugural professorial lecture at the first in a series of ‘My Psychology’ public lectures at University of Sussex. The title of his lecture was, “You should study me, I’ve got a terrible memory!”
In his Lecture, Chris described his academic journey and discussed some of his contributions to our understanding of how the brain underpins different aspects of memory. The lecture was attended by colleagues at the University of Sussex as well as members of the public and Chris’s friends and family.
