Biography
Dr. Aryan Kaushik is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) at the University of Sussex, UK, associated with the School of Engineering and Informatics, and the Sussex Artificial Intelligence Institute, since 2021. He has been a Research Fellow at the University College London, UK, with the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, from 2020-21. He completed his PhD degree in Communications Engineering at the Institute for Digital Communications, School of Engineering, The University of Edinburgh, UK, in 2019. He received his MSc degree in Telecommunications from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Hong Kong, in 2015. He has held visiting research appointments at the Athena Research and Innovation Center, Greece, in 2021, the Imperial College London, UK, from 2019-20, the University of Luxembourg, Luxembourg, in 2018, and the Beihang University, China, from 2017-19.
His research interests include signal processing for 5G/6G wireless communications, integrated radar sensing and communications, energy efficient communication systems, millimeter wave, multi-antenna communications and satellite communication networks. He is a member of the IEEE and the IET. He has been a Technical Program Committee Member for IEEE international conferences such as IEEE ICC 2021 and ICC 2022, a Conference Champion for IEEE PIMRC 2020, and a regular reviewer for several IEEE journals and international conferences.
