As a recent University of Sussex alumnus, Skyy Finch-Vaughan returns to the Mancini Lab as a Research Assistant to continue contributing to work conducted during their MSci project. This research focuses on structure-based drug discovery in mast cell malignancies, utilizing X-ray crystallography and biophysical assays such as MST and TSA. This research targets critical protein-protein interactions involved in mast cell differentiation, proliferation and activation. With the aim to develop inhibitor compounds for these poorly treated disorders.
