Research

My current scientific interests are characterised by two major directions of research:
the study of galaxy structure/morphology and the investigation of environmentally-driven processes on galaxy evolution. I am in particular interested in the following topics:

internal and environment-driven processes regulating star formation in galaxies
mergers and interactions and their effect on galaxy structure and star formation
resolved gas content in high-reshift galaxies
evolution of galaxies in groups and clusters
resolved star formation in galaxies
morphology and structure of low- and high-redshift galaxies
