Biography

Naureen joined the Centre for International Education (CIE) as a Lecturer in International Education and Development in April 2012. Prior to that she worked at Northumbria University (Research Associate), the University of Central Lancashire (Post-doctoral Research Fellow) and the Institute of Education and Research, University of Peshawar (Lecturer in Education). She has been a school teacher in Pakistan and has undertaken consultancies for different International NGOs working within education in Pakistan.

 She has an MEd (University of Peshawar, 1995), an MSc in Social Research Methods in Education (University of Sussex, 2005), a DPhil in Education (University of Sussex, 2008), and a PGCert in Teaching & Learning in Higher Education (University of Sussex, 2015).

 Naureen is Fellow of the Higher Education Academy 2014.

Role

Naureen is course leader for the MA in International Education and Development, in the Centre for International Education, Department of Education.

She teaches on the MA in International Education and Development, the MSC in Social Research methods, the BA in Childhood and Youth Studies and the Undergraduate Pathway in International Education and Development.
