Research

Interests include sustainable energy, UK and EU energy policy, electricity networks, grid balancing, the role of natural gas, nuclear power, CCS, and low-carbon innovation.

Currently working on mixed-method indicator approaches for assessing energy security, using a range of quantitative and qualitative measurement techniques.

Also interested in discourse analysis, multicriteria mapping, stakeholder engagement, and quantitative methods for social science.
