Research
I was a member of the Sensor Technology Research Centre specialising in applications of a novel electric potential sensor to human-machine interfacing, security and the imaging of materials over a range of frequencies from quasi-dc to rf and on micron length scales. These include semiconductors and insulators and the imaging of charge distributions on dielectrics. I also have expertise on superconducting devices, such as flux qbits, ultra low noise amplifiers and receivers from radio frequency to microwave, cryogenically cooled electronic systems and non-linear dynamics in electronic circuits.
