My main research interest is in the group dynamic of game play and the formation and ongoing cohesion of the groups formed. My DPhil research looks at the way that the rules of the game affect the cohesion of the teams. A more detailed overview can be found on my website.
In addition to my DPhil research, I am also involved in the Green Revolution project. This project aims to create an online multiplayer game that provides players with some insight into the complexity of farming in Sub-Saharan Africa. I am involved in designing and coding the initial game prototypes.
