Sussex is proud to announce the upcoming release of From Lab to Laptop: Case Studies in Teaching Practical Courses Online, a comprehensive examination of innovative strategies for integrating hands-on learning in a digital environment. This book offers invaluable insights across various disciplines, including engineering, nursing, performing arts, and chemistry. 

From Lab to Laptop delves into the experiences of educators and students navigating the complexities of remote learning. While many students initially found online courses isolating, levels of satisfaction have notably improved as institutions adapt and innovate. This publication highlights the need for higher education providers to proactively embrace flexible learning models that combine in-person, online, blended, and hybrid modalities, particularly for courses requiring practical experience.
