Every year individuals and institutions from around the world mark Open Access Week (21-27 October) to promote open scholarship and knowledge sharing.
The theme of International Open Access Week for 2024 will continue last year’s focus on “Community over Commercialization”, recognising the need to prioritize approaches to open scholarship that serve the best interests of the public and the academic community.
This year, to mark Open Access Week, the Library are running three events:
October 22 2pm-3pm: Workshop: Open Access Publishing: Your Options Explained
October 23 2pm-4pm: Film Screening: The Internet’s Own Boy
October 24 11am-11.30am: Webinar: Open Publishing at Sussex: Community over Commercialization
Book your free tickets on Eventbrite and join the global movement to promote open access!
