New chapters released in Creating with Uncertainty: An Essential Sustainability Education Resource
We’re proud to announce the release of five new chapters of Creating with Uncertainty: sustainability education resources for a changing world. This free, open-access resource, now featuring five additional topics, continues to provide invaluable tools for schools and educational organisations navigating the complexities of climate change and biodiversity loss.
The new chapters—Menstrual Health, Nature Conservation, The Commons, Gifting, and Creating a Global Agreement—expand on the original content, helping young students (from early years to sixth form) engage with important issues such as the intersection of planetary and human health, conservation of species, and sustainable social practices. The topics encourage collaborative thinking and offer practical ways to address ethical and environmental challenges.
Developed with leading researchers and educators, Creating with Uncertainty promotes a philosophical and creative approach to learning about climate and planetary justice. It encourages students to embrace uncertainty, explore diverse perspectives, and develop thoughtful, responsible ways of living. Access this growing resource online at the Open Press at the University of Sussex (OPUS).
