Student Centre
The Student Centre provides information, advice, and guidance to the whole student community from their accessible location in Bramber House. Advisers have many years’ experience of working with postgraduate researchers, with a good understanding of the complex issues you can face.
If you don’t know who to talk to or who to ask, start at the Student Centre. Seek help early and remember that they are here for YOU.
Issues they can help with include:
- Relationship difficulties in the workplace or at home
- Engagement and motivation, and identifying obstacles to learning
- University procedures and processes
- Health problems
- Personal direction, goals & targets
- Financial difficulties
- Identity-specific support sessions, including race and culture support
-
Personal and welfare concerns affecting academic progress or wellbeing
During lockdown the centre has been operating virtually. You can access their services by emailing the Student Centre to request information, a telephone call back or in-person support. See the Student Centre website for the latest information about accessing their services.
