Ethical Review
If your research involves humans or animals, it’s likely you’ll have to go through an Ethical Review process. This ensures:
- best practice with regard to ethical considerations in research
- meeting all legislative, regulatory, and funder requirements
- safeguarding the reputation of the University
There are different pathways for ethical review, depending on whether your project is low or higher risk. This self-assessment checklist will help you decide whether you need to go through the review process.
