Online
Part of the series: Staff Development
Target audience: All staff (Academic and Professional Services)
Digital Accessibility is a term that refers to digital content and how readily available and usable it is to any person, including those who may have additional access needs.
It’s about universality and making something that can be used by as many people as possible. It is everyone’s responsibility and also a legal requirement - we're all in this together and your actions can make a real difference.
At the University of Sussex, we are committed to ensuring that our website, digital assets and content are accessible and inclusive. Join this introductory webinar with Amie Morrell, Digital and Creative Media, for an insight into digital accessibility, why it is important, and steps that we can take to ensure that we’re embedding accessibility into our work. Amie will also give an overview of the University’s accessibility guidelines for staff.
