Apple Devices Security Vulnerabilities
Apple has disclosed that a large number of its devices have serious security vulnerabilities that could potentially allow hackers to take complete control over the devices.
What devices are affected?
The affected devices include the iPhone 6S and later models; 5th generation iPads and later, all iPad Pro models and the iPad Air 2.
The flaw also affects Apple’s Mac computers running MacOS Monterey and some iPod models.
What should I do?
Apple has released a software update, so you need to apply the update as soon as possible.
How to update your device
Your iPhone or iPad may automatically prompt you to update to the new operating system.
If not:
To update your device manually go to: Settings > General > Software Update
To turn on automatic updates go to: Settings > General > Software Update > Automatic Updates
