The University campus is located within easy access of Brighton, Gatwick Airport and London and is also particularly well serviced by public transport.
Getting to the campus
Train
The Falmer British Rail station is on the main Brighton to Eastbourne and Hastings line, with services running every 15 minutes in both directions during the day. The station is located at the southern end of campus, over the A27, with access via a subway under the main road.
Train journeys to Lewes are approximately five minutes and to Brighton are approximately ten minutes. See the following link for further details http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/
Bus
Bus services run from central Brighton and from Lewes to the campus seven days a week.
Services operate to the University on buses 5B, 23, 25, N25, 28, 29, 29B and 84. Each bus stops at the campus entrance at Falmer House, Sussex House, twice on the North South Road, Bramber House, at Brighthelm Porter's Lodge, Swanborough, Boiler House Hill, Mantell Building and on Eastern Ring Road before leaving campus. Services are every 5-10 minutes Monday to Saturday daytime (84 is Mon-Fri only) and every 30 minutes in the evenings up to approx. 23:30 (check each route for exact times). Service N25 is a night bus which operates throughout the night, from approx 23:30 until 05:30.

From Gatwick Airport, take the train or the bus to Brighton. Change at Brighton for either the train, the bus or a taxi to the University as detailed above.
From Heathrow Airport, take the train or the bus to Brighton. Change at Brighton for either the train, the bus or a taxi to the University as detailed above.
Once you are on the campus
The event is held in the Arts C Building, Room 333. Room 333 is clearly signposted. Please locate the Arts C Building using the 'Campus Map' link which can be found here: www.sussex.ac.uk/aboutus/documents/campusmap.pdf.
Car Parking
The number of available spaces, and the location, will depend on demand for car-parking for University business on any given date. Unfortunately the University is unable to allocate spaces and as such parking in on a first come-first served basis.
Pay and display is in operation in the Visitors' Car Parks on campus Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00 at a rate of £6 per 4 hours.
Please note that there are families with children living on campus all year round. Visitors to the University travelling by car are asked to drive with all due care and caution around campus.
