Our Research & Practice networks are designed to provide a space for researchers and practitioners to share and discuss ideas and common areas of interest. They are open to all interested stakeholders and researchers and will meet at least twice a year. Our overarching aim is to develop our understandings of complex, real world problems and solutions.
School Exclusions and Alternative Provision (SE&AP) network
SE&AP aims to bring practitioners and researchers together to talk about all issues relevant to young people involved in school exclusion processes and/or placed in Alternative Provision. We welcome staff working in schools and in other educational settings and roles as well as new and more established researchers.

SUPPORT aims to bring policy, practice and research closer together by working on shared priorities for our children, identifying funding streams for research and co-constructing research projects to find out what can make a difference.

Reading, Language and Literacies Network
This group invites teachers of English and researchers in the broad field of reading, language and literacies – oral and written - UK and international, to share their visions and ideas for practice, schooling and research, post-Covid-19. This is the moment for us to reflect on the kind of educational experience that could most enrich young people’s lives and to explore what needs to be done to achieve this.
