PGR Induction events, September & October 2024
We were pleased to welcome all new PGRs to the Sussex Researcher School (formerly Doctoral School) in September and October 2024.
Our induction events introduced some of the key services that support postgraduate researchers at Sussex, offered a chance to meet other new PGRs and get to know the research community, and provided a space to ask questions of experienced PGRs and staff who support researchers within Schools.
While most of these events will be held in person, we know you may not be on campus in the first few weeks. For those of you who weren't able to join us, recordings and slides of the Sussex Researcher School Induction have been added below, in addition to our RDP Canvas site. You will also find recordings and slides from induction events from previous years on the RDP Canvas site.
During the main morning session of the Sussex Researcher School Induction Day, Prof Jeremy Niven and Susanna Broom, Dean and Head of the Sussex Researcher School respectively, introduced postgraduate research at Sussex and the Sussex Researcher School offer.
