Workshop on Emergence II – Natural Minds 

This workshop is a follow up from last year’s meeting on emergence, this time with a focus on consciousness. (For details and a recording of the previous meeting, see https://www.sussex.ac.uk/cogs/seminars/emergence) 

Of the plurality of available concepts and measures of emergence, which, if any, can be applied to the existence and description of minded beings in the world? 

To encourage discussion over presentation, the workshop follows a similar format to previously, with two panel discussions followed by an open Q&A session. 

This will be a hybrid event, with one in-person and one online panel. Participants can attend either way, but numbers of in-person attendees are limited.
