Subject requirements: A-level Music or Music Technology. However, if you meet the grades but do not hold the music requirement, successful applicants may have other evidence of advanced musical accomplishment (for example, a pass in grade 7 theory, or a grade 7 instrumental/vocal pass from a certified exam board such as ABRSM, Rockschool or others recognised by Ofqual, or equivalent professional music experience).
Typical Clearing requirements
- International Baccalaureate Diploma
At least 28 points overall, including grade 4 in Higher Level Music. However, if you meet the grades but do not hold the music requirement (see note in subject area) - Access to HE Diploma
Pass Access to HE Diploma with at least 36 credits at Merit or above, including 12 at Distinction
Subjects required: will need to show A-level standard Music or Music Technology (or see note in subject area)
BTEC and BTEC/A-level combinations will be previewed from 13 August 2024. Sign up for Clearing updates.
All successful applicants whose first language is not English will need to evidence English language ability.
