The University welcomes applicants with a broad range of international qualifications, including
- Canada
Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) 65% from 6 grade 12 U, U/C or M courses. British Columbia Certificate of Graduation BCCCC from 5 grade 12 courses. We also accept High School Diplomas from other provinces - French Baccalauréat
An overall score of at least 11 - Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination
At least 433, with 4 in English - India Standard XII
An overall average of at least 70% - International Baccalaureate Diploma
At least 28 points overall - Recognised International Foundation Years
An overall average of at least 60% with good grades in key subjects - USA
High School Graduation Diploma and three APs with at least 433
All applicants must be able to demonstrate an equivalent qualification to the UK GCSE in Mathematics and English, both with at least grade 4 (or grade C).
All successful applicants whose first language is not English will need evidence of English language ability. Our standard IELTS requirement is 7.0 overall with at least 6.5 in each of the four components (Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing). Please see evidence of English language ability
In addition to the academic requirements, all offers will be subject to receipt of a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and health checks. This will be dealt with after any clearing offer is made.
Note: All Clearing applicants who meet the basic academic entry requirements will be reviewed by the Admissions Tutor. If successful at this stage, applicants will be asked to complete written work and attend an interview as part of the second stage of selection before a final Clearing decision is made.
