The University welcomes applicants with a broad range of international qualifications, including
- Canada
Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) 65% from 6 grade 12 U, U/C or M courses or British Columbia Certificate of Graduation BCCCC from 5 grade 12 courses. We also accept High School Diploma from other provinces. All applicants will need evidence of high level Music (or see note below) - French Baccalauréat
At least 11 overall, including 12/20 in Music (or see note below). - Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination
443, with 4 in English and 4 in Music (or see note below) - India Standard XII
Overall average of at least 70% including 70% in Music (or see note below) - International Baccalaureate Diploma
At least 28 points overall, including Higher Level grade 5 in Music (or see note below) - Recognised International Foundation Years
An overall average of at least 60% and with 60% in Music (or see note below) - USA
High School Graduation Diploma and three APs with at least 433 with a 4 in Music (or see note below)
Note: if you do not have Music as part of your academic qualifications, successful applicants may have other evidence of advanced musical accomplishment (for example, a pass in grade 7 theory, or a grade 7 instrumental/vocal pass from a certified exam board such as ABRSM, Rockschool or others recognised by Ofqual, or equivalent professional music experience).
All successful applicants whose first language is not English will need evidence of English language ability. Please see evidence of English language ability.
Please be aware that for all international qualifications, evidence of academic studies to a high level with good results in areas relevant to the degree subject are essential for consideration. All applications will be dealt with on an individual basis.
