Project Management MSc students said that the PMI Day is a 'key event in their calendar'
On Wednesday 27 March, the Project Management Institute UK (PMI) joined us for the University of Sussex Project Management day. This networking and careers event brought together students from our Project Management MSc with practitioners and academics based in South East England.
The afternoon saw leading figures share insights into some of the biggest topics in project management, including the impact of artificial intelligence. Co-organiser of the event, Dr David Eggleton, Lecturer in Project Management with Innovation Studies, reflects on how it provided students with “a first of a kind opportunity” to network with new partners at PMI and returning alumni: “It was wonderful to see our current students meeting the rest of the Sussex project management ‘family’ and starting to decide where they go next.”
A poster session highlighting students dissertation proposals provided them with time and space to gather feedback.
Our Project Management MSc supports students to become first-rate project managers with the critical skills to manage complex projects in today’s uncertain business and economic environment. Places are still available for the course in September 2024.
