Are you passionate about creating a greener, more resilient future and eager to gain hands-on experience in driving meaningful change? If you're a second, third, or final-year undergraduate at Sussex, this is your chance to be part of something impactful!
The Sustainability Team is looking for two motivated Sustainability Interns to join us for a six-week summer internship in 2025.
What you’ll be working on
As a Sustainability Intern, you’ll be at the heart of driving sustainability initiatives across the campus, supporting a range of impactful projects that contribute to a greener future.
Your responsibilities will include:

Collecting and analysing data for sustainability reporting

Contributing to projects, campaigns and sustainability events

Engaging staff and students to foster a culture of sustainability across the university

Researching best practices from other universities to enhance our sustainability efforts
You’ll gain valuable knowledge and skills in sustainability strategy, data analysis, reporting, communications, and engagement while directly contributing to meaningful change.
