ADHD Staff Network launched
Posted on behalf of: EDI Unit
Last updated: Thursday, 21 April 2022
We are pleased to be launching an ADHD Staff Network in response to requests from our ADHD staff community.
The Network will provide a safe space for staff who have either been diagnosed with ADHD, or who suspect that they may have ADHD. This includes any of the subtypes of ADHD (predominantly Inattentive/ADD; predominantly Hyperactive-impulsive; Combined).
In this space, which will initially be hosted via Microsoft Teams, staff will be able to connect with each other, share helpful resources and provide peer support. It will also provide an opportunity for staff with ADHD to feed into to the Staff Disability Network, ensuring that the University is fully conversant with, and understanding of, the needs of our ADHD staff community.
The first official meeting of the Network will take place on Wednesday 11 May from 1pm to 2pm and will recur on a monthly basis thereafter. Once the Network is established alternative meeting formats, including in-person meetings can be discussed by group members. If you would like to join the Network or have any questions about the Network please e-mail the EDI Unit (edi.unit@sussex.ac.uk).
