Refectory Road is reopening
Refectory Road is reopening to all vehicles on Monday 8 July following the successful completion of West Slope utility upgrade works in the area. Please be aware of the following changes:
Changes for vehicles
- Refectory Road reopens to all road vehicles.
- From Monday 8 July, Bramber House Bus Stop reopens – buses serving the North of campus will stop along Refectory Road, then Northfield Lane and then East Slope Road before exiting campus. Please check the Brighton & Hove Buses website for information on bus services on Refectory Road.
- Road access to the north of campus (Lewes Court and Northfield residences) will be via Refectory Road or East Slope Road.
- Vehicles will exit north campus (Lewes Court and Northfield residences) via East Slope Road.
Changes for pedestrians
- New pedestrian crossing at the junction between Refectory Road and East Slope Road.
- Refectory Road will become busier with cars, vans and construction vehicles.
- Pedestrians are advised to us the Arts Path when moving between the Student Centre and central campus.
