Swim for £2.50 at local pools
Staff currently employed by the University of Sussex can get discounted swims at local pools in Sussex.
Our swim offer is valid all year round at local Freedom Leisure pools in Brighton & Hove for £2.50 a swim.
You can present your staff identity card and fill in a staff swim form on your first visit to be eligible for the deal.

- St Luke's also run a regular trans-friendly swim session, days and times can vary so please check with the pool directly for details.
This offer is based on funding for 1,500 individual swims per year. The length of this offer in any given year is therefore under regular review. Please see our full terms and conditions.
Bouldering
Bouldering is a fun form of indoor climbing without the need for ropes or harnesses. University of Sussex staff can enjoy a 15% discount on single entry (peak and off-peak) prices at Boulder Brighton, a state of the art Bouldering centre a few minutes walk from Portslade station. You must show a valid in-date staff ID card at every session to get this discount.
Climbing
High Sports climbing are based at the Withdean Sports Complex in Brighton. University of Sussex staff can use the climbing wall for £9.75 during off-peak times and £11 during peak hours - just show your Sussex ID at reception to redeem the offer. Plus there is an even cheaper Sussex University rate of £8.95 available on Wednesdays and Fridays (11am-5pm) which includes shoe ad harness hire. For more information visit the High Sports website.

Sussex staff and students are eligible for a 25% discount on Beryl bike hire.
