Crawley Town FC
League 2 football team Crawley Town FC are using the Falmer Sports Complex as their training base for the 2023/24 season. The club are also working with the university to offer placement oportunities for students and access to Crawley Town's coaches for our football teams. Read more about the partnership here.
VYD
The VYD social enterprise aims to 'level the playing field for all' by delivering football based projects aimed at deprived and forgotten communities in England. Mainly working across Brighton and Hove, their work leads to targeted long-term behaviour change using the universal language of football. The University of Sussex offers free match time to the project at our Falmer Sports Complex pitches.
Montpelier Villa
Local grassroots club Montpelier Villa also use our 3G pitches as a training ground. The club has both mens and womens teams across all age groups from juniors to vets. Perfect for those students looking to join a local team! Their website can be found here.
