• Meike Sieburg has been selected to attend the FENS-SFN summer school "CELLULAR MECHANISMS AND NETWORKS IN ADDICTION" from 29 May to 4 June in Italy!! Also congratuations to Meike for receiving the Travel Funds from the Sussex Neuroscience 4-year PhD programme (£500). She will be using these funds to attend the EBPS Neuronal Ensembles Workshop in Amsterdam in Sept 2016.
• Congratuations to Joe Ziminski for receiving the Travel Funds from the Sussex Neuroscience 4-year PhD programme (£750). He will be using these funds to attend the Society for Neuroscience Conference in San Diego in November 2016.
• Congratuations to Gabriella Margetts-Smith for receiving the Research Staff Development Fund from the School of Psychology (£480). She will be using these funds to attend the EBPS Neuronal Ensembles Workshop in Amsterdam in Sept 2016.
• Congratuations to Meike Sieburg for receiving the Doctoral Overseas Conference (DOC) grant from the School of Psychology (£1,000). She will be using these funds to attend the Society for Neuroscience meeting in San Diego in Nov 2016.
• The lab's first article entitled "Changes in Appetitive Associative Strength Modulates Nucleus Accumbens, But Not Orbitofrontal Cortex Neuronal Ensemble Excitability" is now out in The Journal of Neuroscience (22 March 2017), and has been covered in 'This Week in The Journal' (http://www.jneurosci.org/content/37/12/i)
