Biography
- I coordinate the Modern Languages section within the Sussex Centre for Language Studies as Deputy Director.

- I have convened Language Elective and Minor Pathways across a portfolio of eight Languages at Sussex since 2011.
- I have been teaching French in HE since 2007.
- I taught French and coordinated Modern Language programmes in Further Education from 1997 to 2007.
- I taught French and German in secondary schools between 1994 to 1997.
- MA Contemporary French Studies, Sheffield 1997.
- BEd. Modern Foreign Languages (French and German), Northumbria 1995.
- After a nine-year period of residence in France during the 1980s I returned to the UK and qualified as a teacher.
