Biography
I am a Visiting Research Fellow at the Informatics Department, University of Sussex and an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Business and Information Technology, University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) in Canada. Prior to joining UOIT, I completed my Ph.D. at the University of Sussex, where I explored triangulation of physiological measurements with other user research methodologies to gain a better understanding of video games player experience.
I have collaborated with the game industry as a Games User Researcher, where I worked on pre- and post-release evaluation of various titles such as: Crysis 2, Split/Second Velocity, Brink, Buzz! Quiz World and Sony’s Wonderbook as well as a range of unannounced projects on all platforms. Currently, I am the User Research Director at the Execution Labs (Montreal).
I also have a Hardware engineering background.
