Gerry Holloway is a retired Senior Lecturer in Life History and Women's Studies in the Centre for Community Engagement.. She has taught on a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses on Women's History, Life History and Gender and Cultural Studies.
She has written on the history of women's work and on women's organisations in the 19th century. She has worked on oral history projects - most recently the Ouse Valley Project , the WRVS Heritage Plus Project and the History of the University of Sussex.
She now teaches and researches on a freelance basis.
