There are two email systems at Sussex, one for taught students and the other for staff and research postgraduates. These pages are about the staff mail system.
The staff mail system is built around Microsoft Exchange and email is delivered or sent from this central hub. Users can connect to Exchange using a variety of mail programs and use different devices: over the web with Outlook Web App, using Microsoft Outlook on a PC or Mac, as well as other mail programs including Thunderbird, Apple Mail and Mulberry.
Our pocket guide is designed to help staff who are starting to use the new mail system. Information is provided for some of the programs we are expecting staff to use to manage their email and calendar.
