In order to resolve the problems with access that students are experiencing with Study direct, we are carrying out urgent maintenance work this morning (Friday 12 January).
During this time, Study direct (including e-submissions) will not be available.
Updates will be added here as the work progresses.
We apologise for the inconvenience this is causing.
Information about late penalties will be made available as soon as possible.

Urgent maintenance work on Study Direct is ongoing - we are aiming to have the service restored by 10:30. A further service update will be provided at 10:00.
Information regarding submission deadlines will be provided later today.

Study Direct is now available. We are continuing to monitor the performance of the service.

We are aware of a follow-on issue with replacing work that's already been uploaded to Study Direct. You may see a message that the file you are attempting to replace is corrupted. We are investigating this as a matter of urgency and identifying a fix that will allow uploads.
