En raison de la globalisation de l’économie, les PME de l’Union Européenne, pour assurer leur développement, ont tendance à rechercher des solutions hors de leurs frontières. Dans ce contexte, l’Agence Régionale de Développement de Haute-Normandie et Sussex Enterprise ont décidé de renforcer leur coopération dans le cadre du programme Interreg II en lançant le projet “Invest in Rives Manche”. Cette action vise à favoriser les implantations et les investissements au sein de l’espace Rives-Manche et à développer les opportunités de partenariats et de relations d’affaires entre les PME françaises et anglaises.		Due to the globalisation of economic life, to develop, European Union SMEs tend to look abroad.For this reason the Agence Régionale de Développement de Haute-Normandie and Sussex Enterprise have decided to strengthen cooperation in the framework of the Interreg II programme by launching the “Invest in Rives Manche” project. The aim of this project is to encourage location and investment in the Rives Manche area and to develop partnership opportunities and business relations between French and English SMEs.

“Invest in Rives Manche” proposera aux entreprises des deux territoires des services et des informations leur facilitant l’accès à ces marchés.		“Invest in Rives Manche” offers firms in the two areas services and information to facilitate access to the French and English markets.
C’est ainsi qu’un guide pratique bilingue sera réalisé en collaboration avec l’Euro Info Centre de Haute- Normandie. Il présentera notamment les procédures administratives concernant les projets d’investissements au sein de l’espace Rives-Manche ainsi que les aides à l’implantation.		To this end, a bilingual guide will be produced in cooperation with the Upper Normandy Euro Info Centre. This guide will explain in particular the administrative procedures affecting investment projects in the Rives Manche area and the subsidies that are available.
Un site Internet permettra de répondre aux questions que les entreprises se posent fréquemment en matière d’implantation à l’étranger.		An Internet site will provide answers to the questions firms often ask about locating abroad.
Création d’un réseau transfrontalier pour l’accueil des entreprises		Creating a cross-border network to assist firms
A terme, cette initiative devrait permettre d’établir un point de contact permanent de part et d’autre de la Manche afin de suivre les projets des entreprises et de les accompagner dans leur démarche d’implantation. Cette activité se fera en liaison avec les organismes locaux de développement économique concernés.		This initiative will provide a permanent point of contact on both sides of the Channel with a view to assisting the establishment of firms abroad and providing after-care. This activity will take place in cooperation with the relevant local economic development organizations.
