Woven Landscapes, Connected Threads: Interlacing Culture, Community and Place
Thursday 29 May 10:00 until 17:00
University of Sussex Campus : Conference Centre

Communities, artists and researchers have an enduring relationship, one which is helping reimagine how we connect and engage with the places in which we live; whether that be the land in which we walk and our relationship with nature, or the village, town, city or landscape we call home. This symposium highlights how creative and participatory methodologies enable more inclusive decision making where we live and the role that culture plays in gently pulling threads together to reimagine new ways of being in our place. It celebrates the best of the region and lays down a strong foundation on which to build a new Sussex moving forward.
This event will showcase projects that place people and communities at the heart of innovation.
