International Students: Graduate route visa and its’ impact on your job search – Online
Event description:
This session is aimed at international students wanting to apply for opportunities in the UK whilst on the Graduate route visa. The Graduate visa route allows you to work in the UK for two years without sponsorship after you graduate, if you are an undergraduate or Masters student, or three years if you are a PhD student. If you want to remain in the UK after that, you would need to find another visa route, such as the Skilled Worker visa.
In the session, Dhruv Krishnaraj from international student careers platform Student Circus, will provide information and tips on how to boost your chances of getting a UK job on this visa.
The session will include:
- An overview of the Student Circus platform and how you can use it to optimise your job search
- Information about Visas and the options you have available to you
- Discussion of the UK job search market
- Importance of networking and how you can use this to your advantage
- Success stories of international students who have secured opportunities on the graduate route visa
There will also be a Q&A where you can ask Dhurv your questions.
