Our School has a wide range of facilities available to support your learning. From dedicated study spaces, to our resource centre — there's something for every student.
Study and Social Spaces
There are a range of student study and social spaces available for use throughout the Arts A, Arts B and Silverstone buildings. These include:
- A108
- A106
- B217
- SB112
- SB314
- Arts A Foyer (opposite School Reception)
- Arts B Foyer
Quiet Room
We also have a dedicated quiet space for students – this is located in Arts A and can be booked. For more information, please ask at the School Office.
Student Kitchen
Alongside study spaces, we have a dedicated student kitchen located in B214, available for all students to use. Equipped with tea and coffee-making facilities, a fridge, and microwave – it’s ideal for longer study sessions or a quick break between classes.
The Resource Centre
The Media, Arts and Humanities Resource Centre is an open-access learning resources centre and study space located in Arts A. Resources available include a collection of over 3000 feature films, documentaries, television programmes, music recordings and scores along with audiovisual resources, satellite television from seven countries, newspapers, magazines and reference material to support the learning of languages ranging from Arabic through English to Zulu.
For more information on the study spaces and resources available to you, please enquire at the School Office in Arts A7.
