An event for members of the research community who would like to join the staff-to-staff mentoring programme as a mentee or mentor and network with other researchers
Learning outcomes:
- Explore how mentoring can enhance your personal and professional development
- Learn how the Staff Mentoring Programme works at the University of Sussex
- Discover how to get the most out of a mentoring relationship through best practice
- Core mentoring skills in the following areas - qualities of effective mentors, chemistry sessions and effective contracting, active listening, effective questioning and TGROW model
- Time to network with fellow researchers also looking for a mentee/mentor relationship
