University of Sussex Symphony Orchestra rehearsal March 2025
Beethoven's landmark third Symphony in E flat major 'Eroica' extended symphonic form and expression and is often considered a milestone between Classicism and Romanticism. This vast work completes an exciting and diverse programme which includes a number of solos arranged by Max Generowicz (Physics and Astronomy), and a new work by Ed Hughes (Department of Music), specially written for the orchestra's first trumpet Henry Tyson (Politics and IR) and leader Ethan Biederman (Development Studies)
