Surveys of postgraduate taught students and PGRs coming soon

Last updated: Thursday, 23 March 2023
From Monday 27 March, postgraduate students on a Masters programme will be invited to take part in the Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES), while postgraduate researchers (PGRs) will be invited to complete the Postgraduate Research Experience Survey (PRES). Both surveys will run until Sunday 7 May 2023.
The survey you are asked to fill in is your chance to tell us about your postgraduate experience at Sussex so far. These are the only national surveys of postgraduates, so it helps build an understanding of experiences across the country too.
Please take the time to share your views – it should only take around 15 minutes.
Look out for an email invitation from Jisc Online Surveys with your link to complete the relevant survey, as well as reminders from the University.
All eligible postgraduates who take part in the relevant survey by Monday 17 April will be entered into a cash prize draw, with two £1,000 prizes on offer for taught postgraduates and one £1,000 prize on offer for PGRs.
In addition, for each survey response throughout the whole survey period, the University will donate £1 to a charity chosen by you during the surveys. We will announce the chosen charity from each survey after it closes.
You can find more information about PTES on the Student Hub and information about PRES on the Doctoral School pages.
Thank you for getting involved and helping to shape the future for our postgraduate community.
