Abstract:
Wellbeing@Sussex is back! The third edition of our mini-conference focuses on digital well-being, fostering interdisciplinary dialogues on the impact of AI and digital technologies on mental and physical health, as well as societal welfare.
The mini-conference presents a valuable opportunity to explore academic research on well-being from a variety of perspectives, pursued by scholars both from University of Sussex and beyond. It also offers a chance to network with academics and practitioners working in diverse fields related to digital well-being.
The event will feature a keynote speech by Professor Anna Cox (UCL Interaction Centre) and an academic presentation from Dr. Aneesha Singh (UCL Interaction Centre). This will be followed by a collaborative academic–practitioner dialogue between Dr. Keith Perera (School of Education and Social Work, UoS), Dr. Charlie Crouch (Educational Enhancement, UoS), and Zsike Peter (Founder, Vampire Digital). The event will conclude with a panel discussion featuring industry experts, including Azahara Corales (International Public Speaker | AI & Digital Transformation Strategist), Dr. Tej Samani (CEO, Performance Learning), Kanishk Gaur (CEO, Athenian Tech), and Professor Ron Chrisley (School of Engineering and Informatics, UoS).
