Eid Al-Fitr “Festival of the Breaking the Fast” lasts for one day and is predicted to start this Wednesday (10 April) depending on the sighting of the moon. The festival marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan, during which Muslims around the world have been praying and fasting diligently. Eid is considered as one of the most auspicious festivals by the Muslim community and is joyously celebrated with family and friends to give thanks to Allah.
We would like to wish our staff and students, and the wider Muslim community celebrating Eid, a very happy and blessed Eid Al-Fitr.
