Last updated: Monday, 8 April 2024
In partnership with SOS-UK, we’re offering an exciting opportunity, open to all students, where you can receive IEMA-approved training on sustainability auditing, and then put your newfound skills into practice by conducting Green Impact audits of university departments on Tuesday 30th April 10am – 6pm.
Green Impact Auditors conduct sustainability audits of the university schools and departments, reviewing their sustainability activities and providing feedback. You will receive a half-day IEMA-approved training course where you will learn about sustainability issues and how they apply to the university, as well as develop professional and analytical skills.
The training will support you to develop and practice transferable employability skills including communication, teamwork, decision-making, time management, and organisation. You’ll also develop a better understanding of sustainability in the workplace and what the University of Sussex is doing to be more sustainable.
No prior experience is needed, just a willingness to try something new! After the day you will get a digital badge to demonstrate your experience. If you think you’d like to join us, please register your interest.
