Residential Re-Use Scheme Open over Winter Break
By: Martha Knott
Last updated: Wednesday, 15 December 2021
Every year the Residential Re-Use Scheme gives student, especially residents moving out of their accommodation, the opportunity to donate anything they don't want or need, to be passed on to other students via the Students' Union's Free Shop, or donated to charity via the British Heart Foundation.
This winter we are opening a mid-year donation round for anyone who is moving out for Christmas, so if you’re moving out (or just have stuff you don’t need) please donate suitable items you're planning to throw away to help out other students who need a hand.
The scheme will be open from Friday 10 December to Wednesday 5 January and you can find drop off points in your residential receptions. If you cannot find a drop off point, ask at your reception.
Please Donate:
- Clean Clothes
- Shoes
- Unopened Food - Must not be expired
- Kitchenware
- Bric-a-Brac
- Electrical items
Please do not donate bedding, as this is recycled separately.
