Two parents of autistic children at Sussex have set up an informal group called SPACE (Sussex Parents of Autistic Children Etc.). 

They’re arranging an informal coffee morning for parents and guardians at the University who care for children with neurodivergent needs. It’s a chance to share experiences, offload, share tips, network, and celebrate your children. 

It will take place in the Meeting House quiet room on Thursday 3 October from 11.30am-12.30pm. If you’d like to attend, please register your interest now. 

The group hopes to meet twice a term, alternating between in person and online. If you’d prefer to seek the support of the community online in between, please join the SPACE community on Viva Engage (the University’s internal social media platform).
