Siobhan O’Reilly, Director of Human Resources, wrote to all staff today. You can read the full message below:
Dear colleague,
I’m really pleased to share with you the finalised (draft) People Strategy and associated webpages.
I would really value your input into developing these and would like to invite you to join one of our focus groups.
In the focus group we will update you on progress to date, what we are planning to focus on with the strategy and how you can have your say, before it goes to Council for approval in November 2022.
This is your strategy and your chance to have your say about how it should be presented, how you want to be kept updated on progress and what you can do about any items you think have been (or are being) overlooked.
This strategy has been developed over the last year, using feedback directly from staff, from committees focused on people issues and from the staff survey results.
Please book onto one of the sessions to support some really key issues linked to our people and making Sussex a better working experience for all. Please also feel free to share this email and the dates with people you feel would like to have a say in people issues at Sussex.
The dates of the sessions are:
- Wednesday 14 September | 2.30pm – 3.30pm
- Monday 19 September | 3.00pm – 4.00pm
You can book onto the session using Eventbrite and we will send you a link to join your chosen session closer to the time of the meeting.
I look forward to seeing you there.
Siobhan O’Reilly
