The staff survey closes tomorrow - have your say
By: Sean Armstrong
Last updated: Monday, 18 October 2021
Dear colleague,
Thank you to the 29% of staff who have taken the time to complete the staff survey so far. If you haven't had your say yet please take the chance to do so before the survey closes at 5.30pm tomorrow (19 October).
Feedback from our staff is greatly valued and this survey is one way we can get a thorough understanding of how to improve Sussex as a place to work.
How to complete the survey
The online survey is run by a third-party provider, People Insight, who will manage responses in confidence. You have received a link by email from People Insight which is unique to you and the survey should take no more than 10 minutes to complete. If you have lost your email invitation, you can contact our survey provider to ask them to resend your survey link: admin@peopleinsight.co.uk.
People Insight will ensure there is no risk of completed surveys being attributable to an individual to encourage more people to give an honest opinion of working at Sussex.
The survey is a key opportunity for you to tell us how you feel about the University so we can continue on our journey to make Sussex better for everyone in our community. Listen to Robin Banerjee, academic lead for the staff survey working group and Head of the School of Psychology, talk about why we want to hear from everyone.
We’re continuing to undertake a range of initiatives to improve how we work here - including the Report + Support tool - which were a direct result of feedback we received from staff in previous surveys.
We will be holding two shorter pulse surveys a year, providing us with the opportunity to find out what matters most to you and to give you the chance to say what you think could be done differently or better.
Best wishes,
Siobhan O’Reilly
